It's been a little over two months since my surgery! I'm so lame for not writing more often so i can remember all the little details! The whole process has just been such a blessing! I can't get over how much better i feel and how easy it all was. I am now down 35 lbs and lots of sizes:) lol i thought the actual lbs would fall off quicker but i'm thankful i'm at least losing! It's been so reassuring having people constantly come up to me saying how great i look! Two weeks ago i started doing curves and i absolutely love it!
As far as what I'm eating now.... I usually drink a shake first thing is the morning. Then for lunch i have various things but always try to make sure they are very low fat and high protein. sometimes it's 3 oz. of tuna... with a little cheese and a cracker for crunch. Other times it may just be two pieces of turkey and a slice of cheese rolled up or on a cracker. Occasionally i'll have a weight watchers meal but i can only eat about half of it so it doesn't really give you that much protein. For dinner I usually have 4 oz of chicken, tuna, ham or turkey and sometimes about 1/4 cup green beans. I really try not to snack but if i just really want something i will eat some turkey and cheese or reduced fat pb crackers.
I really have enjoyed this new lifestyle! I'm just so thankful i've not had any complications and still haven't had an hunger after two months:) Can't wait to see how the Lord continues to use this in my life!

Getting Started
i've got so much catching up to do, that i really dont even know where to start! i figured if i just typed a few sentences it would at least help me get going. today its been six days since my gastric bypass surgery. i am so thankful that i feel great! i can honestly say i have not had any pain at all. i had this crazy idea in my brain that i would be laid up in my head whining for at least a week! i've been really pleased that hasnt been the case at all! i am currently down 5 lbs since the morning of my surgery! yay for me! i am 2 lbs away from my first goal. yes i know 7 lbs isnt much but it will put me at 299 lbs which means Lordwilling i will be out of the 300's forever!!!! the Lord has showed me so much through the past few months as i was getting ready for my surgery! He is so faithful and always right on time! i hope to backtrack soon and catch myself up to date starting all the way back with my fertility issues till today!
as far as today goes it's been a great day! i was able to sleep in, then had my protein shake(which i absolutely love!) they are so delicious! it's the Unjury brand Chocolate Splendor. i mix it with 4oz 1% milk and just shake away! i had 1/2 cup tomato soup for lunch and a SF popsicle a little bit ago. a friend brought dinner over for jamo, which was super sweet of her but pure torture for me!!! she brought him KFC! it smelled so good!! the house still smells too! hah! after dinner me and jamo went for a short walk just so i could get out of the house. it looked a bit rainy but he seemed to think we would be fine. unfortunately after we got one street over to church street it started sprinkling! we then turned right around and walked much faster home! lol it seemed like the perfect amount of walking though so maybe the rain was a good thing. now we're watching food network. you would think after not being able to eat for three weeks i would not dare to watch it but i love it!! tomorrow is my one week post op appt and i'm really hoping he lets me move on to "mushies":) sounds gross huh? well i'm so excited for my refried beans and cheese!!!!!
